Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has signed a management agreement with PT PAM and BINA NUSANTARA to develop Hyatt Place Semarang. The hotel will be located in Semarang and will be part of an integrated ecosystem that includes BINUS SCHOOL Semarang, BINUS University @Semarang, 23 Semarang Mall, and other supporting facilities.
Hyatt Place Semarang is planned as a seven-story property with 154 rooms. The hotel will feature a lobby, all-day dining, ballroom, meeting rooms, restaurant, gym, swimming pool, and a rooftop bar overlooking the Java Sea. It will be part of Hyatt’s Essentials portfolio.
The development is part of BINA NUSANTARA’s initiative to expand its presence in Semarang, integrating educational and lifestyle facilities to create a connected environment for education, community, business, and hospitality.
The design of Hyatt Place Semarang is inspired by organic forms and the characteristics of a coastal city, featuring dynamic shapes, green open spaces, and an inner court that allows natural light throughout the day.
The project is part of BINA NUSANTARA’s broader vision to develop a supportive environment in Semarang that incorporates educational, community, lifestyle, and hospitality elements.
