Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Mumian Shaoxing Hotel in Shaoxing City, China, as part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with Shenzhen Yuen Kai Hotel Management Co., Ltd., has opened the Mumian Shaoxing Hotel in Shaoxing City, China. This hotel is the latest addition to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The property is situated within the renovated former Shaoxing 871 Chip Factory, seamlessly integrating elements of the site’s industrial heritage with contemporary design.

The hotel features 90 guest rooms, ranging in size from 484 to 2,206 square feet. The design, led by interior designer Ju Bin and the Horizontal Design team, maintains the original skeletal truss structure of the factory. The layout incorporates natural greenery and contemporary art installations throughout the space.

The Mumian Shaoxing Hotel offers three food and beverage outlets. Xiaonanyang Restaurant serves as an all-day dining venue, while the Xingshan Lobby Bar provides afternoon teas and evening cocktails. Additionally, the hotel features two Chinese tea rooms, the Zen Pavilion and the Orchid Pavilion, perfect for intimate gatherings. Other amenities include a fitness center, a yoga studio, and a children’s club.

The hotel is located at the foot of Fushan Mountain within the Shaoxing Place commercial complex in Yuecheng District. It is accessible from Shaoxing North Railway Station, which is a 25-minute drive away. Nearby attractions include Lu Xun Native Place and the historic Sanwei Study, as well as Fushan Park and the Xu Wei Art Museum.
