Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened the Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan, marking the brand’s debut in Busan, South Korea.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan, the first Hyatt Place hotel in Busan, South Korea. The new hotel is located in the Yeonsan district, a significant business and transportation hub in the city. This development adds to Hyatt’s portfolio in South Korea, which now includes six properties under the Hyatt Place brand.

The Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan features 160 guestrooms. Each room is equipped with workstations, smart TVs, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The hotel aims to serve both business and leisure travelers, with its strategic location near Yeonsan Station and major bus routes, providing access to key areas such as Busan City Hall, Seomyeon, and Centum City.

The hotel includes a dining area called The Placery, offering a variety of menu options. The hotel’s design, developed in collaboration with the Korean design studio RMSJ, incorporates modern Korean aesthetics.

The opening of Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan is part of Hyatt’s broader strategy to expand its presence in South Korea, particularly in cities with growing demand for tourism and business travel.

The property also offers a promotion for World of Hyatt members, with 500 bonus points available for qualifying stays from January 1, 2026, through March 31, 2026.

This new hotel joins Park Hyatt Busan as the second Hyatt property in Busan, South Korea’s second-largest city.
