  • Hyatt Plans New Hyatt Place Hotel in Kolhapur Sangli, India

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a management agreement for Hyatt Place Kolhapur Sangli, marking its expansion in India.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has entered into a management agreement with Shah Lagoo Properties LLP to open Hyatt Place Kolhapur Sangli. The new hotel will be part of SL Highstreet, a mixed-use development in the region. This project is part of Hyatt’s strategy to expand its presence in India, particularly in secondary cities and high-growth areas.

The upcoming Hyatt Place Kolhapur Sangli will feature 115 guestrooms. The hotel will provide various amenities, including a dining venue open 24/7, a fitness center, and a swimming pool. Additionally, the property will offer banquet and conference facilities for events and gatherings. The hotel aims to cater to both business and leisure travelers.

Hyatt Place Kolhapur Sangli will be located within SL Highstreet, which includes office spaces and retail outlets. The hotel is positioned to serve the needs of travelers in Maharashtra’s growth corridor. The development aligns with Hyatt’s focus on expanding in underserved markets with growth potential.

The agreement with Shah Lagoo Properties LLP represents Hyatt’s continued investment in the Indian market. The company has been working to increase its footprint in the country by targeting emerging cities and regions with growing demand for hospitality services.

The timeline for the hotel’s opening has not been specified. However, the project is part of Hyatt’s broader strategy to enhance its presence in key markets across India.
