The Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill has announced an extensive renovation project scheduled to begin and end in 2025. The project aims to solidify the hotel’s position as a top choice for accommodations and conventions, in line with its 50th-anniversary celebration in 2026.
Randy Thompson, the General Manager, shared that the renovation is part of the hotel’s dedication to improving the guest experience and strengthening its presence within the Capitol Hill community. The renovation underscores the hotel’s commitment to enhancing its services for group and individual travelers engaged in governmental activities.
The redesign will draw inspiration from the history and craftsmanship of the Capitol Hill neighborhood, aiming to enhance the hotel’s sophistication and contribute to the area’s prestige.
The renovation will include a total redesign of all guest rooms, a significant upgrade of the conference facilities, and a complete overhaul of the lobby and dining establishments, Article One – American Grill and Bar. The changes will create more open and welcoming spaces, aiming to elevate the guest experience to new levels of comfort and elegance.
