Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Andaz Miami Beach, marking the Andaz brand’s first hotel in Florida. The beachfront hotel is located on Mid-Beach and features 287 guestrooms, two outdoor pools, a spa, a beach club, and three dining concepts by José Andrés Group.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has introduced Andaz Miami Beach, the first Florida location for the Andaz brand. This announcement follows the establishment of the Hyatt Lifestyle Group and signifies a notable expansion of the brand’s footprint.
Located on Mid-Beach, Andaz Miami Beach is close to the South Beach area yet provides a tranquil retreat with serene pools and a private white-sand beach. The hotel is the result of a transformation of the previously known The Confidante Miami Beach, incorporating a Mediterranean influence into its design and offerings.
EoA Group, in collaboration with Hyatt Lifestyle Group’s in-house design team, led the design efforts, creating a space that embodies the grace and flow of the ocean. The property, owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors, includes 287 guestrooms, of which 64 are expansive suites, all offering views of the ocean or the Miami skyline.
The hotel also features two heated outdoor pools with private cabanas, a spa, and a members’ beach club. In addition to these amenities, Andaz Miami Beach has partnered with José Andrés Group to offer three distinct dining experiences, Aguasal and Bar Centro. The third dining concept, The Bazaar by José Andrés, is set to open later in the year.
The spa and beach club are expected to welcome guests in the upcoming months.
