Iconic '80s Rock Band Announces 'Very Special' One-Night-Only Show Amid 2026 Tour

It’s never too early to start thinking about Halloween, especially if you’re Duran Duran.

The ’80s rock band, known for its annual Halloween spectacle, has just announced this year’s one-night-only Danse Macabre Halloween Party.

“Halloween is coming to @theO2london 😈,” the post began.

“Duran Duran have just announced a very special show taking place on 31 October! 💀,” it continued.

“Conjured from the band’s performance at the Wynn Theatre in Las Vegas in 2022, which spawned the 2023 album Danse Macabre, the Danse Macabre Halloween Party has evolved into an annual tradition. Following sold-out shows in 2024 and 2025 in New York and Manchester, the show will arrive in London for the very first time this year – the finale to the band’s UK arena tour 2026. 🧛” the post added.

As in previous years, the band is encouraging fans to “dress-up for a Halloween spectacular, complete with a spooky takeover at The O2 – from frightful silent disco to chilling cinema screenings and surprise performances. 👻 “

Tickets for the spooktastic event will be on sale starting Friday, July 10, at 10 on Duran Duran’s website.

“DD VIP Community members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets to this show via an exclusive pre-sale, starting on 8 July at 8am,” the post also revealed.

What began as a one-night-only event in Las Vegas has since grown into a highly anticipated annual tradition, later inspiring the band’s 16th album, Danse Macabre. The show sold out Madison Square Garden in 2024 and made its UK debut last fall, featuring a mix of the band’s biggest hits and darkly reimagined rare tracks.

Fans couldn’t help but rave about the show in the comments, as one wrote, “Saw the Halloween show in Manchester last year, amazing! 🩷🧡,” as another added, “Absolutely fantastic!👻👹.”

Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor have been active on the road in 2026, kicking off the year with a mini U.S. run, followed by a Las Vegas residency in May. They’re currently in the middle of a summer tour run in Europe.
