DoveHill has announced the acquisition of the White Barn Inn, located in Kennebunk, Maine. The property, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection, is known for its hospitality offerings, including a fine dining restaurant that has received Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond awards. The acquisition is part of DoveHill’s strategy to invest in unique, independent hotels in high-barrier-to-entry markets.
The White Barn Inn features a collection of guest cottages, a spa, and a pool. Additionally, the property includes the Cora Houseboat, which offers guests an experience on the Maine coast. DoveHill plans to implement enhancements to the property while preserving its existing character.
Auberge Resorts Collection will continue to manage the White Barn Inn, maintaining its operational standards. DoveHill’s acquisition is facilitated through its DoveHill Opportunity Fund 2, which focuses on preferred equity and direct investments in distinctive hotel assets.
