IHCL announces the opening of Naukuchia House, a new property in Uttarakhand, marking their fifth collaboration with Leisure Hotels Group since 2013.
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) recently announced the launch of Naukuchia House – an IHCL SeleQtions resort in Uttarakhand. Situated at over 4,000 feet in the Kumaon foothills of the Himalayas, this charming retreat overlooks the beautiful Naukuchiatal Lake, presenting visitors with a refreshing blend of luxury and nature.
Naukuchia House, a 42-key property, is strategically located on the serene shores of Naukuchiatal Lake, surrounded by mist-laden forests and the pristine mountain lake. The resort offers signature dining experiences at Ija, an all-day restaurant featuring alfresco seating and authentic Kumaoni flavors. ‘Himmaleh,’ a lounge & bar, provides an atmosphere of understated elegance inspired by the Himalayas. The resort also features a specialty restaurant that offers stunning views of the lake.
Guests of Naukuchia House have access to a temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool, a luxurious Spa, and exclusive access to Naukuchiatal Lake. Other immersive experiences include forest bathing, stargazing, private picnics, and nature trails such as the Ghanta Devi trail.

The addition of this property expands IHCL’s portfolio in Uttarakhand to 17 hotels, including seven under development, cementing their position as a dominant player in the region’s hospitality sector.
