IHG Hotels & Resorts Opens first Vignette Collection in India and  South West Asia with The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula

IHG Hotels & Resorts opened The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula, Vignette Collection, on Aug. 4, 2026. The hotel is in Panchkula, within the Chandigarh Tricity region near the Shivalik hills.

The property has 145 rooms and suites with automated climate control, touch-button curtain controls and adjustable lighting scenes. Facilities include a spa, salon, fitness center, swimming pool, cabanas and The Aarlis Lounge.

The hotel has approximately 30,000 square feet of meetings and events space, including the Aura Grand Ballroom and indoor and outdoor venues.

Dining venues include Sapio, an all-day dining restaurant; Cabinet V, serving Indian and European cuisine; Wakerie, a patisserie; Jigger, a cocktail bar; and Sky VI, a rooftop venue. Nearby attractions include Morni Hills, Sukhna Lake, the Rock Garden and Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex, as well as commercial hubs in the region.

Guests at The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula can participate in Venu-Nada, the property’s signature Memorable Ritual. Held from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., the event includes traditional oil-wick lamps, live flute music and tabla performance.

The hotel has partnered with Chhoti Si Asha to source locally made products for guest amenities and gifting. The partnership supports underprivileged women and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The opening introduces Vignette Collection to India and South West Asia. Vignette Collection has 34 hotels in 17 countries, with 45 more planned over the coming years.
