IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Delta Business Traveler to provide enhanced travel benefits for small-and medium-sized enterprises in the U.S.
IHG Hotels & Resorts announced a new partnership with Delta Business Traveler aimed at expanding travel benefits for small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United States. This collaboration integrates IHG’s existing SME travel program, IHG Business Edge, with Delta’s newly launched platform, Delta Business Traveler.
The partnership allows SMEs enrolled in Delta Business Traveler to access offers from both Delta and IHG Business Edge. Eligible members who join IHG Business Edge within the next year will receive a fast-track to IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status. This status offers benefits including room upgrades, bonus points, flexible check-in and check-out, and milestone rewards.
The initiative is part of IHG’s strategy to support SMEs as global business travel continues to recover. According to the Global Business Travel Association’s Business Travel Index Outlook, business travel spending is projected to increase by 6.6 percent year-over-year in 2025. The collaboration with Delta Business Traveler aims to reach millions of eligible SkyMiles members, enhancing the travel experience for SMEs.
IHG Business Edge, launched in 2018, serves tens of thousands of business accounts globally, offering simplified hotel booking and savings for SMEs. The new partnership with Delta Business Traveler is expected to extend these benefits to a broader audience, aligning with IHG’s ongoing efforts to provide value to SMEs through strategic collaborations.
This development follows IHG’s previous partnerships with other brands, including Hertz and Singapore Airlines, as part of its commitment to delivering meaningful value to SMEs.
