IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Pacini Group to rebrand The Venice Times as part of the Vignette Collection, with completion expected by the end of 2025.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a new agreement with Pacini Group to rebrand The Venice Times hotel in Venice, Italy. The property will join the Vignette Collection, marking the second collaboration between IHG and Pacini Group. The rebranding is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025.

The Venice Times is situated in the historic center of Venice, offering guests proximity to major landmarks, including the Venice Casino, Ca’ d’Oro, and the Grand Canal. The hotel is also within walking distance of the La Fenice Theatre and the Rialto Bridge, and offers easy access to Vaporetto water bus services.

This development is part of IHG’s strategy to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Italy. The Venice Times will be the third Vignette Collection signing in Italy within two years, following Hotel Alexandra and Costa Irminia Retreat & Spa.

The Venice Times will feature 30 rooms and will maintain its unique identity with Venetian-inspired décor. The hotel will cater to both domestic and international travelers, offering amenities such as a cocktail bar, an outside terrace, and a restaurant serving locally-inspired cuisine.

This agreement strengthens the partnership between IHG and Pacini Group, following their previous collaboration on the Garner Hotel Rome Aurelia.

IHG currently operates 30 hotels across seven brands in Italy, with an additional 15 properties in development.
