IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement to open voco Al Mouj Muscat, a 251-room resort in Oman, by the fourth quarter of 2025.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement with Golden Group Holding for the development of voco Al Mouj Muscat. This 251-room beachfront resort is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2025. The project marks the introduction of the voco brand in Oman, expanding IHG’s presence in the Middle East.

The resort will be situated in the Al Mouj Muscat neighborhood, a waterfront area in the Omani capital, renowned for its diverse range of residential, commercial, and recreational facilities. The location offers proximity to Muscat International Airport and various cultural landmarks, catering to both leisure and business travelers.

The new resort will feature 251 rooms and suites, five dining options, including an all-day dining venue and a specialty restaurant, as well as a lobby lounge. Additional amenities will include three meeting rooms, a spa, swimming pool, fitness center, business center, and parking facilities.

The voco brand, launched by IHG in 2018, is part of the company’s premium portfolio and has been expanding across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Upon completion, voco Al Mouj Muscat will join a global network of over 100 voco hotels, with more than 95 additional properties in development.

IHG currently operates nine hotels across five brands in Oman, including Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, and Holiday Inn. The company has three more hotels in its development pipeline in the country, expected to open within the next three to five years.
