IHG to Open Dual-Branded Kimpton and EVEN Hotel in Jeddah in 2028

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement to open Kimpton and EVEN Hotels in Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City in 2028.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a partnership with Koushan Real Estate Development Company to develop two hotels in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The agreement includes the construction of Kimpton and EVEN Hotels within the King Abdullah Sports City area, a district that will be a focal point during the 2034 FIFA World Cup. The new properties are scheduled to open in 2028.

The development will introduce the Kimpton brand, known for its boutique lifestyle offerings, and EVEN Hotels, which focus on wellness, to the northern part of Jeddah. The location provides access to key infrastructure, including the nearby stadium, retail and leisure zones, and King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Kimpton Jeddah King Abdullah Sports City will feature 330 rooms and serve as a social hub with specialty restaurants, wellness facilities, and flexible event spaces. EVEN Hotel Jeddah King Abdullah Sports City will include 255 rooms and emphasize wellness travel with in-room fitness zones and recreational spaces.

The introduction of these brands aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the country’s tourism and hospitality sectors. 

Upon completion, these hotels will join IHG’s portfolio of over 6,600 hotels worldwide and contribute to its development pipeline of more than 2,200 properties.
