Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has expanded its luxury and lifestyle portfolio by adding Bristol Berlin, Vignette Collection. This iconic hotel, owned by Aroundtown that has over 150 hotels across Europe, will join the Vignette Collection’s rapidly growing family of unique and luxury hotels.

The Vignette Collection brand, launched in 2021, has seen a swift expansion. It appeals to hotel owners seeking to leverage IHG’s industry prowess while preserving their hotel’s unique charm and identity. The brand is on track to attract 100 hotels by 2030, surpassing the halfway point in just three years.

Located on Kurfürstendamm, a renowned avenue in Berlin’s heart, Bristol Berlin Hotel, established in 1952, offers guests a premium city-center experience. The hotel will feature 303 rooms, a brasserie, a lobby lounge and bar, a spa with a swimming pool, and 1,500 sqm of meeting and event space.

IHG’s strategy has evolved to focus on expanding its luxury and lifestyle portfolio, which is backed by strong interest from guests and hotel owners. This strategy is evident with the forthcoming opening of the Vignette Collection hotel in Germany, marking its debut in the country.

Kamaldeep Manaktala, CEO of Hotels of Aroundtown, expressed optimism about the partnership with IHG, expecting it to unlock the hotel’s full potential and elevate its performance.

Vignette Collection, IHG’s first collection brand, is a selection of unique hotels, embodying diversity and discovery. Bristol Berlin, Vignette Collection will join 147 IHG properties in Germany, with another 75 in development across seven brands as of 31 December 2024.
