voco Hotels, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, has signed agreements to open three new properties in Canada, marking its entry into the Canadian market.

voco Hotels, a brand under IHG Hotels & Resorts, has announced its expansion into Canada with the signing of three new properties. The hotels will be located in Montreal, Toronto, and Niagara Falls, with openings scheduled between late 2026 and 2027.

The voco Niagara Falls – Fallsview is set to open in late 2026. This property will be a conversion of an existing hotel located in the city’s tourist district. It will feature 232 guest rooms across two towers. The hotel will offer amenities such as an on-site restaurant, a revamped lobby area with a coffee shop, an indoor pool, and a fitness center.

In Montreal, voco Hotels plans to open a new-build property in downtown by mid-2027. The hotel will be situated near the Montreal Convention Center and the University of Montreal Health Centre. It will offer 55 guest rooms along with restaurant and lobby lounge spaces.

The voco Toronto Airport West is another new-build hotel, expected to open in 2027. Located near Toronto Pearson International Airport, the hotel will include 180 rooms, a restaurant and bar, a fitness center, and 3,500 square feet of meeting space. This property aims to achieve zero-emissions and carbon-neutral status, participating in IHG’s Low Carbon Pioneers Program.

These developments are part of voco Hotels’ strategy to expand its presence in metropolitan areas and popular travel destinations. The brand has seen significant growth, with 45 new signings in 2024 and market entries in India and Sweden. Currently, voco Hotels operates 100 hotels globally, with an additional 95 in the pipeline.
