Indoor markets in and around Edmonton to explore while it’s still cold outside

26 March 20263 Mins Read

There are a bunch of markets to explore in Edmonton while it’s still cold out.

Edmonton and the surrounding area are home to many indoor markets, whether it’s a craft market or a farmers market. We’ve rounded up some of the best and most-well known markets to Edmontonians, with all the details you’ll need to know. IF you’re looking to get outdoors without exactly getting outdoors, here are some of your chances!

Let’s get into the swing of things, shall we?

Located at Salisbury Greenhouse in Sherwood Park, this market comes around every Thursday, no matter rain or shine. You can find a wide variety of offerings here, no matter if it’s food, trinkets, or something entirely different.

When: Every Thursday
Time: 4 to 7 p.m.
Where: 52337 Range Rd. 232, Sherwood Park, Alta.
Cost: Free

Home to over 120 different vendors, more than 80 per cent of those vendors are local, who make, bake, and grow their own products. This year-round market offers so much more than you could ever imagine, so you’ll just have to check it out yourself.

When: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday
Where: 3696 97th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

Queen Mary’s Market is located in the heart of Edmonton, operating on weekends mainly with weekly activities and vendors open depending on the day. Here, there are over 130 vendors, as well as five individual restaurants within the building. This market takes on strong local vendors with a selection of antiques, rare collectibles, local produce, artisanal goods, and services.

When: Every Saturday and Sunday
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays
Where: 12011 111th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

This market in Old Strathcona has been around for ages, and it’s Edmonton’s most premier farmers’ market. Being the original year-rounder, this place offers the best locally grown and made goods as well as trinkets you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

When: Every Saturday and Sunday
Time: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays
Where: 10310 83rd Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Oddbird Art and Craft Fair is a staple in the Edmonton community; you’d be amiss not to consider going. Over 70 artists, designers, and makers combine their forces to create a massive market in Edmonton, with only the best trinkets.

When: Friday, May 8, 2026, and Saturday, May 9, 2026
