Internship Available at HOTREC for March-July 2026

HOTREC is offering a five-month internship in Brussels from March to July 2026, with a focus on EU advocacy and hospitality-sector issues.

HOTREC has announced an internship opportunity for the period of March to July 2026. The position is based in Brussels and involves supporting the association’s advocacy efforts within the European Union.

Responsibilities for the internship include:

• Monitoring EU legislative proposals affecting the hospitality sector
• Assisting in the development and implementation of advocacy strategies
• Supporting internal and external meetings and events
• Producing reports from meetings and events
• Assisting in managing EU-funded projects
• Providing communications support, including website updates, social media, presentations, and design

Applicants must hold a university degree and have familiarity with European politics and policy. A good understanding of the European Union’s institutions and processes is also necessary. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm, a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills, both written and oral. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of other European languages is considered an advantage.

The internship is full-time and falls under the Belgian “Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle,” which includes an allowance.
