Introducing The LiberNovo Maxis, A Series Of Office Chairs For Bigger And Taller Users

12 May 20264 Mins Read

This article was produced in collaboration with our sponsor, LiberNovo.

It’s no secret that if you’re spending extended periods sitting at a desk – whether it be for work, gaming, or otherwise – having the right chair is paramount. You might also think that, with the office chair market flooded with almost endless options, every demographic is accounted for. The bigger and taller readers among you will know that’s not necessarily the case.

The LiberNovo Maxis

LiberNovo

At least it wasn’t the case until now. No matter how practical and ergonomic even the best office chairs on the market might be, users of a certain size aren’t going to feel comfortable using them. That’s why LiberNovo has created Maxis, a series of innovative chairs that have been made with big and tall users in mind.

Data suggests that a standard ergonomic chair simply isn’t made with a significant chunk of North American males in mind, whether it be due to their height, their weight, or both. The Maxis doesn’t just remedy that by making the chair bigger, but via a complete redesign that attempts to account for everything larger users need to feel more comfortable day-to-day.

Chairs in the Maxis Series have a reinforced frame that’s capable of supporting users who weigh up to 399 pounds. It also has a 52 cm ultra-deep seat, a core feature that provides additional thigh support to reduce pressure on your upper legs, something standard ergonomic chairs simply don’t provide for users of a certain size.

Features Designed With Taller Users In Mind

LiberNovo’s Maxis is the perfect chair for taller people, too, thanks to a height-optimized Bionic FlexFit Backrest that can be adjusted to accommodate anyone between the heights of 5’10” to 6’7″. You can also adjust the shoulder span to up to 430mm, and the waist span up to 520mm, ensuring that the back of the chair makes full contact with your entire back for optimum support.

The Maxis also has extended headrest adjustability combined with a U-shaped curve that’s designed to cradle your neck. The broader frame of the chair not only allows for full coverage and better support, but also ensures big and tall users are given the room to breathe that they don’t have with other models. Its armrests have been customized and are fully adjustable so they’re never digging into your waist, and its controlled recline system ensures that you’re always moving back smoothly and slowly, so no sudden drops thanks to an integrated 6-spring controlled recline system.

You won’t need to sit perfectly still once you’ve discovered the perfect settings for your chair either, nor will you need to worry that shifting slightly will throw off your optimized comfort level. LiberNovo’s Dynamic Support system accounts for posture shifts and has been recalibrated to handle the higher body mass of the users the Maxis Series has been created for.

The armrests on the Maxis Series are curved so they’re not constantly pressing up against your waist, and its six-stage recline system means you can gradually lean back and return to an upright position smoothly and gradually.

Choosing Your Model And Placing A Pre-Order

Retaining all of the core features users of LiberNovo’s award-winning Omni models benefit from, the Maxis series chairs include a Bionic Flexfit Backrest, Electric Lumbar Support, and all of the other features listed below, depending on which model you buy.

  • Bionic FlexFit Backrest
  • Electric Lumbar Support
  • Dynamic Support System
  • 5-Position Reclining Backrest
  • Motorized Massage Mode
  • Active AirFlow Seat Ventilation
  • Premium Materials & Engineering

There are three models to choose from in the Maxis Series – Manual, Electric, and Airflow. Use the table below to match up the features you need to select the model that best suits you before placing your pre-order.

Speaking of LiberNovo’s Omni line, the GREENGUARD Gold Certified range is getting some new additions of its own – the Omni Pro and the Omni SE. The Omni SE is the base model stripped down to the essentials. Still the brand’s high-quality flagship chair, but scaled back to make it more accessible to those who want an Omni chair in their home. The Pro is at the other end of the Omni scale. It adds integrated seat ventilation for users who spend extended periods in their office chairs, ensuring maximum comfort and plenty of airflow.

Pre-orders for all three new LiverNovo models – the Maxis, Omni SE, and Omni Pro – will begin on May 12 at 7 pm PDT and be available until 9 am PDT on June 16. If you pre-order your chair before June 16, you’ll receive a discount of up to 42 percent. You’ll also receive a $30 discount coupon when making a $10 deposit during the pre-order period.
