Speculation is growing over whether Taylor Swift will make another surprise appearance at Tight End University (TEU) this year.
During a recent appearance on Up & Adams, NFL star George Kittle was asked about what fans can expect from this year’s Tight End University event, which he hosts alongside Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen.
While discussing the expanded plans for the annual gathering, Kittle hinted that major musical talent will be involved but stopped short of confirming any names.
“This year we got the NFL stadium, which I’m really excited about. We’ve opened up field day to the public and so they come, sit the stadium,” Kittle explained.
“And then that night,we have our country music show. But I can’t tell you who will be performing because some of them are on tour. But I’m gonna tell you that it’s gonna be an amazing show. We have some awesome talent and I don’t know how we got such talent,” the San Francisco 49ers star added.

When asked directly if he could confirm appearances by a globally famous pop act, Kittle remained careful with his response.
“Yeah, confirm or deny I could never.”

The comments have fueled fresh questions about whether Swift could once again take the stage at the annual NFL event, especially after her headline-making surprise performance last year.
Swift delivered one of the most talked-about moments in TEU history when she made an unexpected appearance during the Tight Ends and Friends concert in Nashville in June 2025.
Performing before a crowd of roughly 1,200 people, Swift surprised fans with a rendition of her hit song “Shake It Off.” During the performance, she addressed the audience and dedicated the song to the NFL players attending the event.
“See, the one thing tight ends have in common with Nashville musicians is we’re all friends, right?” Swift told the crowd.
Referring to those watching from a VIP section, including Travis Kelce, she added: “So you know, we’re up there and we’re having some drinks. We were thinking like, ‘How loud could this place get?’”
The performance was assembled at the last minute. After finishing the song, Swift revealed: “Will you please give it up for this amazing band who just figured out that we were going to play that three minutes ago?”

The surprise appearance quickly went viral and significantly increased attention on the annual football summit.
While fans continue to hope for another surprise appearance, Swift’s schedule could make it difficult.
Reports indicate that Swift and Kelce are expected to marry during the first week of July. Some reports have pointed to a wedding date shortly after this year’s Tight End University activities conclude.
That timing has led to questions about whether Swift would have enough availability to organize another surprise performance similar to last year’s appearance.
Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly announced plans regarding a TEU performance.
What is confirmed is that the annual Tight Ends and Friends concert will return as part of TEU’s programming in Nashville. Organizers have already promised another major entertainment lineup.
TEU was founded in 2021 by Kelce, Kittle and Olsen to bring NFL tight ends together for training, networking and education. The event now attracts more than 80 players from across the league.
Meanwhile, Swift remains busy with high-profile appearances. Most recently, she attended the premiere of Toy Story 5 in Los Angeles, where she celebrated her original song “I Knew It, I Knew You,” written for the upcoming film.
For now, fans hoping to see Swift return to the TEU stage will have to wait.
