ITB Berlin 2026 will host more than 50 exhibitors from 27 countries in its Adventure Travel & Responsible Tourism segment from March 3 to 5, with Peru participating as the event’s first Adventure Travel Partner.

ITB Berlin 2026 is scheduled to take place from March 3 to 5, with its Adventure Travel & Responsible Tourism segment focusing on sustainable and adventure travel in Hall 4.1. The segment will feature over 50 exhibitors representing 27 countries, presenting products and services related to environmentally friendly outdoor experiences, nature-oriented and community-based tourism, and responsible business models.

Peru will participate as the first Adventure Travel Partner of ITB Berlin, with exhibition space in halls 23 and 4.1. New exhibitors in 2026 include Hokkaido Tourism Promotion, the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), and UNESCO Global Geoparks. Returning exhibitors include the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), Myclimate, the European Centre for Eco and Agro Tourism (ECEAT), and Studienkreis für Tourismus und Entwicklung.

The programme will include the ITB Lighthouse Stage in Hall 4.1, which will host panels, keynote speeches, and presentations on topics such as adventure tourism, cycle tourism, climate protection, agritourism, safety in outdoor tourism, wildlife observation, community-based tourism, astrotourism, geotourism, and accessible travel. The stage will also feature certification and award ceremonies by organizations including Myclimate, GSTC, Travelife, ECPAT Germany, and RAL Umwelt.

The 21st Green & Blue Tourism Forum will be held under the theme “Genuine Sustainability – Enjoying the Great Outdoors the Responsible Way.” The Responsible Tourism Lounge, organized by mascontour, will facilitate industry dialogue and the development of sustainable tourism concepts.

ITB Berlin 2026 will also include a guided tour titled “Resilient Destinations: Adapting Tourism to Climate Change,” scheduled for March 3 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The tour will present examples of climate adaptation in mountain, coastal, and city destinations, focusing on infrastructure planning and adaptation measures.

Award presentations will begin on March 3 at 6 p.m. with the TO DO Award and the TO DO Human Rights in Tourism Award in Hall 7.1b. On March 4, Accessible Tourism Day will take place at CityCube Berlin, followed by the Green Destinations Top 100 Story Awards, ITB Earth Award, and People’s Choice Award in Hall 7.1b. The Social Entrepreneurship in Tourism Award will be presented on March 4 at 6 p.m. in Hall 6.1. On March 5 at 2:15 p.m., the Gender Equality Champion of the Year Award will be presented in the LGBTQ+ Pavilion in Hall 4.1.

In cooperation with Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), ITB Berlin will offer reduced-rate public transport tickets for trade visitors and exhibitors, valid for the duration of the event.

ITB Berlin 2026 will mark the 60th anniversary of the event and will be held as a B2B trade show. The ITB Berlin Convention will run concurrently, featuring speakers from business, science, and politics across multiple thematic tracks.
