Rondale Moore’s NFL Career

Rondale Moore, the former NFL wide receiver, was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings. Recurring knee injuries hindered his NFL career, limiting his time on the field.

On February 21, 2026, Moore was found dead in his hometown of New Albany, Indiana. Authorities say his death was from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound, though the cause will be confirmed only after an autopsy is completed.

Fans and Community React

Fans touched by Watt’s mentorship of Moore and saddened by the young player’s untimely death shared condolences in the comment section.

“Great example of veteran encouragement and leadership. RIP RONDALE MOORE,” wrote one. Another added, “Love how J.J. kept it real and didn’t sugarcoat it but encouraged him to move on from a bad rep and keep it pushing. True leader. Take accountability and learn from your mistakes…”

“You get back up. You get back out there and you catch the next one,” another responded, quoting Watt’s words to Moore.
