Jamie Lee Curtis is nothing short of a chameleon when it comes to her acting career—and her latest movie role is no exception.
In a first look at the Oscar-winning actress in the new film The Last Showgirl, Curtis has completely transformed into somebody else, making her look nearly unrecognizable.

In the first trailer for the upcoming film also starring Pamela Anderson– which dropped on Thursday, Nov. 14–Curtis is framed in the background of one scene looking completely different, sporting reddish-orange hair and a heavy caked-on makeup look.
Entertainment Weekly shared a close-up image of Curtis’ character in exclusive first-look photos, which showed the Halloween star wearing a sparkly work uniform, a heavy spray tan and a metallic pink lip color.

According to Anderson, Curtis was already getting into character with her red wig at their first meeting for the film, which was just after she got a spray tan.
“We were doing the table read, she was getting more and more orange, and with this frosty pink lipstick,” Anderson, 57, recalled. “It was amazing.”
As for Curtis, 65, she knew “immediately” what she wanted her character, Annette, to look like.
“There is that term that is kind of a pejorative of, particularly, women that says they look like they were rode hard and put away wet,” she explained to EW. “I wanted very much to show the damage the sun had done to her—she has that leathered look.”
The Last Showgirl will open in a limited release on Dec. 13 before expanding nationwide on Jan. 10
