Jane Lynch is opening up about reuniting with several of her Gleecastmates on the first episode of the quiz game show, Celebrity Weakest Link.
During a September 2025 interview with TV Insider, Lynch said she enjoyed hosting the show while Glee stars Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Chord Overstreet, Becca Tobin, Jenna Ushkowitz, Max Adler, Dot-Marie Jones, and Alex Newell took turns competing on the series.
“It was fantastic to see all of my costars. We had a blast. Amber dominated the game, and she won. It was a lot of fun,” said Lynch to the publication.
She also said she was brought back to playing her Glee character, Sue Sylvester, known for her signature track suits and cutting comments.
“Yeah! Me insulting them, and them taking it,” said Lynch in the interview.
Jane Lynch’s ‘Glee’ Castmates Spoke About Reuniting on ‘Celebrity Weakest Link’
In a September 2025 interview with Entertainment Tonight, alongside her Glee castmates, Lynch shared similar comments about channeling Sue for the Celebrity Weakest Link episode, which aired on September 15.
“I loved being cruel and unpredictable, shaming, and humiliating. And I did all of that,” quipped Lynch during the interview.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Ushkowitz, who played Tina Cohen-Chang, said she and her Glee co-stars enjoyed seeing Lynch turn on her Sue-ness while filming the Celebrity Weakest Link episode.
“I’m having the best time. But the moment that Jane Lynch walked out and gave her whole monologue, we were like cackling. We were like, ‘Oh my god,'” said Ushkowitz in the interview.
Both Newell, who played Unique Adams, and Adler, who played Dave Karofsky, told the publication how it felt to reunite with their former castmates over a decade after Glee‘s 2015 finale.
“It’s been so long since we’ve seen each other. And it’s like we were with each other yesterday,” said Newell to the publication.
Adler also said that it felt both “like yesterday” and quite some time had passed since filming the sixth and final Glee season.
“It feels like we’re all completely different people, living different lives, living in different areas, we’ve got kids. But also like no time has passed. You went through something together that no one else could understand,” said Adler in the Entertainment Tonight interview.
