The Lytle Park Hotel, part of the Autograph Collection, has announced the appointment of Jeff Sweet as its General Manager and Area Managing Director. Sweet brings over twenty years of experience in the industry, with a diverse background encompassing operational expertise, a strong culinary grounding, and a leadership style that prioritizes empowerment and service.

Sweet is not new to the hospitality sector. His career began in the culinary arts, where he rapidly progressed from restaurant kitchens to executive chef roles in major cities like San Diego, Denver, Dallas, New York, and Indianapolis. His deep comprehension of food and beverage operations paved the way for his transition into hotel management, where he held roles such as Director of Operations, General Manager, and Vice President of Operations at Pyramid Global Hospitality.

After a stint away from the industry, Sweet returns to the hospitality field. His immediate task will be overseeing operations at The Lytle Park Hotel, along with its sister properties, The Phelps and the AC Hotel at The Banks. As General Manager and Area Managing Director, Sweet will maintain the hotel’s high standards, foster innovation, enhance company culture, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

This new role sees Sweet at the helm of a property with a strong legacy and a reputation for excellence. The Lytle Park Hotel is known for its blend of history, charm, and modern elegance, and Sweet’s appointment marks a significant milestone in the property’s ongoing evolution.

Sweet’s leadership style, known for prioritizing associates’ needs, is expected to be a major asset for The Lytle Park Hotel as it continues to build on its success and reputation within the industry. His expansive hospitality career and unique blend of culinary and managerial expertise positions him as a valuable addition to the hotel’s leadership team.
