Jen Hamilton Teases Exciting New Project Amid Split From Husband

The labor and delivery nurse may already be working on the sequel to her New York Times bestselling memoir, Birth Vibes: Stories and Strategies for an Empowered Birth, after accusing her estranged husband, Brian Hamilton, of living a “double life” and being unfaithful.

“Back in April / May, I was working on the proposal for my second book. I was having a really hard time putting it on paper,” Jen shared on Instagram on Thursday, July 30. “It was going to be about loving yourself and not caring what anyone thinks, living your best life. I think I was having trouble because the Lord was about to shineth upon me and hand me a different manuscript. Apparently, I did not love myself like I thought that I did.”

She then joked, “What a time to be a New York Times bestselling memoirist!”

Jen’s debut memoir reached the top of The New York Times bestseller list in May. Birth Vibes chronicles empowering stories from her career as a labor and delivery nurse while offering advice and encouragement for expectant parents.

Just weeks after the book’s release, Jen announced her separation from Brian following 15 years together. She later accused him of living a “double life with a woman who was 56 years old.” Brian has not publicly responded to the allegations. The former couple share two young sons.

In Thursday’s video, Jen revealed she is now working on “take two of that second book proposal” and even teased a few lines from the manuscript without offering any context.

“Is it my heart that hurts? My liver? My uterus? Certainly not my clitoris, that’s for sure,” she read, before sharing another quote from the manuscript: “Hell yeah, girl. Let them titties fly free.”

Amid her separation, Jen has raised more than $120,000 through the Sisterhood of Solidarity Collection and direct donations to support nonprofits that help women escape abusive relationships and rebuild their lives.
