Jersey’s Mike’s Popular Hot Sub Returns for a Limited Time

The weather is still heating up in certain parts of the U.S., even though fall is fast approaching.

The same can be said about a beloved sandwich chain, which just brought back its fan-favorite Mike’s Hot Italian by popular demand.

That’s right, folks. Following its debut earlier this year, Jersey Mike’s has welcomed back the spicy sub for a limited time — and just in time for the start of the NFL season.

The restaurant chain took to social media this week to unveil the Hot Italian’s return. “Some comebacks are hotter than others 🥵,” reads the caption of the chain’s recent Instagram post.

Fans have since flooded the post’s comments section to voice their support. “Please make it permanent. It’s my absolute favorite sub,” wrote one Instagram user, while another person similarly commented, “🔥I have prayed for this day. Now keep it permanent.”

Available for a limited time at participating Jersey Mike’s restaurants across the U.S. — and priced at $8.95 for a regular size — Mike’s Hot Italian is loaded with ham, salami and pepperoni grilled and chopped and covered in melted provolone. And as fans well know, it’s finished with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and Jersey Mike’s signature Chopped Pepper Relish.
