JOB NOTICE – Child Supervisor

ATP is looking for Child Supervisors to supervise the Youth Ensemble (ten children ages 10 – 15) during rehearsals and performances of The Wizard of Oz, including some daytimes on weekdays. Child Supervisors will be responsible for supervising the children from drop-off to pick-up, communicating with their parents/guardians, ensuring the children are prepared and on time for cues, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
Candidates must be over 18 years of age and must pass a background check. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, and will have first aid certification (or be willing to become first aid certified). Candidates must be comfortable around small dogs. Theatre experience is an asset.
We anticipate a total of approximately 320 hours from 30 Oct 2025 – 04 Jan 2026, to be split between 2 Child Supervisors (who will work primarily independently of each other).
The pay rate for this position is $15/hour.
CONTRACT DATES:
1st Day of Rehearsal: 30 Oct 2025
1st Day on Stage: 18 Nov 2025
1st Preview: 25 Nov 2025
Opening: 28 Nov 2025
Closing: 04 Jan 2026
*Rehearsals are Tuesday through Sunday. Monday is the day off.
