Description
Overview
Quest’s General Internship opportunity take place between January and April of 2026, is 15 weeks long and is open to any BFA Drama graduate or equivalent.
The nature of this opportunity primarily favors candidates with an interest in Drama Education but is also shaped by the candidate’s other identified interests in the theatre arts industry. The internship can provide learning opportunities to explore, learn and gain competencies in all aspects of a non-profit arts organization. In addition to drama education, the opportunity anticipates interest in any of the following areas of theatre: acting, directing, playwriting, stage management, AGM and Board exposure, or arts administration (including communications, marketing and fundraising). Because we primarily work in the school system and occasional public venues, technical theatre experiences are limited.
Many of our former Interns still accept weekly teaching contracts with Quest while being active in the Calgary theatre sector. An invaluable hands-on experience for anyone thinking of going into theatre in any capacity.
