Joel McHale and Ikechukwu Ufomadu Join Netflix Comedy ‘Strip Law’ as Trailer and First Looks Drop

Netflix is adding to its growing slate of adult animated comedies with Strip Law. The 10-episode series, set in the chaotic legal world of Las Vegas, now has an official trailer, confirmed release date, and a first look at its cast of characters.

First revealed last August, the series comes from Netflix’s long-time partners Titmouse Inc., the studio behind Big Mouth and The Midnight Gospel. With just a month to go until release, Netflix has unveiled new stills, the trailer, and two additional cast members.

You can catch all 10 episodes of the debut season when they land on Netflix globally on Friday, February 20th, 2026.

Strip Law comes from creator and executive producer Cullen Crawford, known for his work on Star Trek: Lower Decks and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Speaking on the announcement, Crawford shared his enthusiasm for the project, “Getting to make this show with a metric ton of geniuses has been my favorite thing I’ve ever gotten to do. I hope people find watching ‘Strip Law’ to be the joyous chaotic distraction from our grim reality that making it was for me—and also, that I live to be one thousand years old.”

Executive producing alongside Crawford are Steven Fisher and Trevor Engelson. For the animation studio Titmouse Inc., Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Ben Kalina, and Antonio Canobbio serve as executive producers.

What is the plot of Strip Law?

The series promises a mix of courtroom drama and Sin City absurdity. The story follows a mismatched pair of personalities as they navigate the Las Vegas legal system. Here is the official logline for the series: “Uptight lawyer Lincoln Gumb is too boring to win cases in Vegas until he teams up with local magician/hedonist Sheila Flambé to bring some flash and pizzazz to the stupidest cases the city can throw at them.”

Who is in the voice cast of Strip Law?

As originally announced late last year, we’ve now got character names and several new cast additions.  

Leading the series is Adam Scott (Severance, Parks and Recreation), who voices the uptight Lincoln Gumb, Esq. Playing opposite him as the chaotic magician/hedonist Sheila Flambé is Janelle James (Abbott Elementary, One of Them Days).

Rounding out the main cast are:

• Stephen Root (Barry, Office Space) voices Glem Blorchman.
• Shannon Gisela (M.I.A., Chasers) plays Irene Gumb.
• Keith David (Platoon, The Princess and the Frog) stars as Steve Nichols.
• As we exclusively revealed, Aimee Garcia (Dexter, Lucifer) will be playing an unknown role and Sean Glasgow is also listed as Movie Dilterton.

The new images also revealed two exciting guest stars or recurring characters not previously announced. Joel McHale (Community, Animal Control) has joined the cast voicing a character named Pringus, alongside Ikechukwu Ufomadu (Judas and the Black Messiah) who voices Bench.
