Pokémon Go‘s yearly “Go Tour” event this year focuses on the Kalos region, with the global version of the event running on Feb. 28 and March 1, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. in your local time. Rather than a big fancy legendary with multiple forms, this year’s Go Tour focuses on the launch of Super Mega Raids, debuting Mega Malamar, Mega Victreebell, and Mega Dragonite.
As usual with these premier events, there’s a ton to do during Pokémon Go Tour: Kalos, so we’re here to break down the perks that you get as a free player versus the ones you get for paying for the ticket and provide you with the rotating schedules and habitats for the event.
Pokémon Go Tour: Kalos event bonuses
The following bonuses will be active for all players, even if you don’t have the pass:
- Mega-Evolved Pokémon will get a CP boost.
- Halved hatch distance for any eggs placed into Incubators during the event.
- Up to six Special Trades per day.
- Halved Stardust cost for trades.
- Flabébé will appear more often in routes (though the various colors will still be region locked).
- Collect Zygarde Cells at the end of “up to 25 routes per day.”
- Pokémon caught from raids will have a chance of having Special Backgrounds.
- Unown K, A, L, O, and S will spawn from Incense.
If you buy the ticket for $9.99, you’ll get access to the following:
- An increased chance to find shiny Pokémon.
- Possible snapshot encounters with Latias (Saturday) and Latios (Sunday).
- Timed Research that allows you to get region-exclusive Furfrou trims
- Branching Special Research that allows you to get an encounter with Xerneas or Yveltal, depending on the path chosen.
- Masterwork Research that rewards shiny Diancie.
Pokémon Go Tour: Kalos rotating habitat schedule
This Go Tour only has three rotating habitats throughout the eight-hour event. However, from 1-2 p.m. and 5-6 p.m., all Pokémon from all habitats will be spawning, allowing you to catch up on any specific Pokémon you may have been looking for.

Pokémon Go Tour: Kalos egg hatches
Any eggs obtained during the event period has a chance to hatch any of the Pokémon in the table below. Note that the 10 km egg hatches are regional Pokémon, so if you’re still missing these from your Pokédex, now is a good day to take a long walk. (Though keep in mind that you can get Kangaskhan and Heracross from Mega Raids… though you can’t really control your egg luck, so… Let’s just all hope you get Hawlucha and Klefki instead of those.)
