Kate Middleton teased the return of a “beautiful” tradition for Christmas, the Together at Christmas carol service, and royal fans “can’t wait.”
On Thursday, Nov. 13, the official Instagram account for Prince William, 43, and Middleton, also 43, shared a short clip confirming the beloved holiday event.

“Looking forward to The ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol Service returning to Westminster Abbey this December,” the royal couple captioned their update. “The service will bring people together to celebrate love in all its forms, whether it’s in families, friendships or across communities.”
To conclude the post, the parents of three—Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7—declared, “Christmas is a time that connects us all. Tis the season! 🎄🎶.”

In the comments, royal fans rejoiced over the upcoming return of Middleton’s carol service, with one Instagram user writing, ” Can’t wait 🎄❤️.

On Friday, Dec. 5, Together at Christmas will combine “traditional and modern elements to encompass people of all faiths and none” as the “world-renowned Westminster Abbey choir sing[s] some of the nation’s most beloved carols,” according to a Kensington Palace statement, per People. Additionally, the event will feature musical performances and readings by celebrity guests, including Hannah Waddingham, Dan Smith, Kate Winslet and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
“The Service will also showcase stories of some of the incredible guests in the congregation, who are leading by example and helping to create a more connected society,” it continued.
Middleton was the driving force for the 2021 the Together at Christmas carol service through The Royal Foundation. The event served as a tribute to those who went beyond the call of duty amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Each year, the service has continued with a different theme; for 2025, the theme honors those who act with love in their communities.
For 2025, Together at Christmas will also feature a tribute to Katharine, the Duchess of Kent, who died at 92 in September.
