We expect Kate Middleton to rewear her gorgeous clothes. The sustainable Princess of Wales is known for recycling her looks. She did just that during Thursday, May 8th’s VE Day celebration in the U.K., wearing a Self-Portrait blazer dress she also rocked in 2021 and 2022. But, as gorgeous as the dress is, all of our eyes were on her hair. She added a bit of a Gen Z twist to her classic vibe with a big black bow.
Just a few weeks ago, the Princess of Wales debuted a lighter, warmer brunette hair color perfect for summer months. Now, she’s switching up her usual hairstyle with a chic half-up ‘do and cascading waves, adorned with a black velvet bow. It’s a perfect accessory for her: classic but not boring, slightly trendy but not overly so and utterly pretty.

Middleton isn’t known for tons of accessories. She usually keeps it simple. But this day, she mixed it up with Susan Caplan earrings and necklace (a sustainable jewelry brand, of course!), tan pumps and a black bag. Plus, that oversized bow we got a look at when she turned her head.
