Kellogg’s Magical New Collab Looks ‘So Cool’ and ‘Fun’ According to Shoppers

19 June 20253 Mins Read

Did you know that titular Wednesday character, Wednesday Addams, gets her name from the poem “Monday’s Child”—specifically the line, “Wednesday’s child is full of woe”? Fitting, isn’t it? Even more fitting that we’re writing this on a Wednesday, but who’s to say we aren’t writing this from the future, or the past—hmm? We may never know. Regardless, the deviously dark antihero known to have a taste for all things creepy crawly is set to return to the small screen this coming August, and like most of us, I’m counting down the days on my still fully attached hand.

The dazzling series dreamed up by the king of all things enchantingly gruesome, Tim Burton, enthralled fans last season with its witty storylines, immersive film style, and fiendishly good acting, and has since enshrined itself into the Halloween hall of fame. As good as the show is, though, what’s the real secret sauce? Is it the dynamic duo of Jenna Ortega and Tim Burton, the shockingly relatable characters, or is there some dark magic at play, forcing us to watch the show against our will? I guess we’ll never know.

Of course, there is some merit to the theory that the characters themselves are wildly relatable and some of us are definitely more of an Enid than a Wednesday. Luckily, if you do find Enid more your vibe and have been looking for a breakfast to showcase that Kellogg’s and Netflix just teamed up to bring you the breakfast cereal you didn’t know you needed. According to @markie_devo, Wednesday Howlin’ Confetti Cake Cereal is headed to stores later this summer, and fans are going wild.

This enchanting cereal features naturally flavored confetti cake loops that turn your milk a stunning shade of lavender that probably tastes just like Enid’s saccharine sweet personality. Right now, there is no concrete release date, but it’s been reported that some stores are already carrying the cereal, while others are projected to receive it sometime later this summer. Fans were bewitched in the comments with most saying, “Ohhh this is sooo cool.” “Ohhhh I’m obsessed 🙌🙌” said someone else.

Maybe they’ve been put under a spell, or maybe, just maybe, it really is that cool. Only time will tell. Either way, we’ll be tuning in to watch Wednesday on Wednesday, August 6, to see what all the hype is about.
