Kelly Ripa’s fans did a double take after seeing the daytime talk show host’s stunning red carpet ensemble at the 97th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, March 2.
The Live with Kelly & Mark star arrived for the event at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., with her husband and Live co-host, Mark Consuelos, on her arm. The two embraced classic Hollywood looks for the outing as they posed for the photographers gathered to watch celebrities arrive.

Ripa, 54, wore a red-orange floor-length gown featuring a silky piece of fabric that wound up from her chest to loop delicately around her neck. She wore her blond hair back in a high ponytail and completed the look with silver dangling earrings.
Consuelos, 53, wore a black tuxedo for the outing as he posed with his wife. He kept the look simple with a pair of shiny black shoes, a black bowtie and a silver watch on his left wrist.

Several fans praised the couple’s red carpet display on X, formerly Twitter, with one observing that Ripa looked “gorgeous” as another said Ripa and Consuelos were “in the running for my best-dressed-couple of the evening.”
Many others couldn’t help but notice how Ripa’s strapless dress showed off her well-toned arms. “Kelly Ripa is ripped,” one fan wrote on X, a comment that another X user quickly echoed.

“I just walked in the room with the red carpet coverage going and Kelly Ripa has insane side delts wtf,” one fan wrote as another tweeted, “kelly ripa arm workout routine NEOWWW.”
After attending Sunday’s ceremony, Ripa and Consuelos are slated to host a special “After the Oscars Show” program for Live. The show is scheduled to air on Monday, March 3, at 9 a.m. ET.
