Try our simple keto fathead bread recipe. It is perfect for making tasty keto bagels or French toast.
Last week, Keto Fathead Bread came to mind when Mrs. CBB wanted to make keto bagels.
Later in the evening, we didn’t have the energy to roll, which caused holes to form in the bagels.
Instead, we took the lazy route, created a small football, and turned it into fathead bread.
Although we were skeptical, the bread turned out fantastic. You’ll love it.
Let me show you how we made it.

What Is Keto Fathead Bread?
Fathead dough is a mixture of eggs, almond flour, and other common baking ingredients that most people have in their keto pantry,
You’ll find that the keto fathead bread is a bit heavy, as you’d find with the keto bagels.
Nothing is wrong with that, especially if you toast it with butter or make French toast.
I enjoy adding my homemade keto sugar-free maple syrup over the top.
I’m not trying to tease you, but it’s delicious and costs far less than what you buy at Costco.
You can find an extensive list of keto products we’ve seen at Costco, and two loaves of keto bread cost $8.99.

Control What You Eat And How It’s Made
What I like about making keto fathead bread is that I control the ingredients.
For example, for this fathead bread, I chopped garlic and added it to the dough.
I made this fathead bread savory for dipping in our tomato salad juice.
On days in a rush, we take two slices and add cheddar cheese and tuna salad.
If two keto recipes are always in our refrigerator, it’s egg salad and tuna salad.
You’ll also find cold coffee for keto iced coffee and hard-boiled eggs.
Other Recipes We Make Using Fathead Dough
You can also use this simple fathead, low-carb, keto-friendly dough to make these recipes below.

I might have layered the butter on a bit thick, but I’m British, and we love our butter.
Another reason why we enjoy keto fathead bread is because you don’t get a big slice of bread.
If you want a more significant piece of bread, all you do is shape the fathead dough higher before baking it.
You’ll get fewer slices, but if you want big, form it big and enjoy it.
We stored our keto fathead bread in the refrigerator and left it out once, but it went moldy.
I suggest refrigerating it once it’s cooled down or freezing it if you make loaves in advance.
Adding Seeds Over the Top
The last thing to consider is whether you want a topping such as sesame and poppy seeds.
Sometimes I brush egg whites over the loaf of bread, and other times a bit of water.
Either way works if you add seeds to the top of the keto fathead bread.
If you use egg or egg whites, you’ll find that the loaf will be a yellowish color.
