And live from New York, it’s Kim K! SNL50: The Anniversary Special promised to unite some of Hollywood’s biggest stars at Studio 8H to celebrate the momentous run of Saturday Night Live. One such A-lister was Keeping up with the Kardashian star and business mogul, Kim Kardashian. The reality TV star previously hosted the show during Season 47 and has been impersonated numerous times. She also dated cast member Pete Davidson.
In SNL50‘s first callback to an iconic sketch, the anniversary special returned to The Lawrence Welk Show. As in past iterations, Fred Armisen appears as the titular host before throwing to a group of four singing sisters, including Kristen Wiig‘s baby-handed Dooneese. The SNL50 version, however, saw Dooneese’s normal-handed sisters played by Scarlett Johansson, Ana Gasteyer and Kardashian. The hilarious skit also welcomed Will Ferrell‘s Robert Goulet. Kardashian held her own against the comedy powerhouses, letting Dooneese play the bongos on her derrière.
