Kimpton has opened its first hotel in Malaysia, the Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, located in the Tun Razak Exchange district.
Kimpton, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, has announced the opening of Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, marking the brand’s debut in Malaysia. The hotel is situated in the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), a key business and lifestyle hub in Kuala Lumpur. Owned by LQ Hotel Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Lendlease and TRX City Sdn Bhd, the property features 466 guestrooms and suites across 26 stories.
The hotel offers views of notable city landmarks, including Merdeka 118 and KL Tower. The interior design, led by Hassell, incorporates elements inspired by Malaysia’s natural landscapes, with a focus on earthy tones and organic textures.
Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur includes four dining and social venues:
– Tuai + Till: A dual dining space offering farm-to-table and fermentation-driven menus.
– Four Siblings: A spice-themed rooftop bar inspired by the historic spice trade.
– Rise & Grind: An espresso bar featuring locally sourced Liberica coffee beans.
– Sabato’s: An Italian-American restaurant set to open in early 2026.
The hotel offers a range of guest amenities, including in-room yoga mats, complimentary bicycles, and a daily morning energizer session featuring local beverages. Wellness facilities include a rooftop fitness center with TRX suspension training and a variety of workout sessions.
Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur is part of IHG’s expanding portfolio of luxury lifestyle hotels, joining recent openings in Frankfurt, Riyadh, Hainan, Algarve, and Hong Kong. Future openings are planned in locations such as Bali Ubud in 2026.
