Kimpton has opened its first hotel in the Middle East, Kimpton KAFD Riyadh, located in the King Abdullah Financial District of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Kimpton has expanded its presence into the Middle East with the opening of Kimpton KAFD Riyadh. The hotel is situated in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) of Riyadh, marking the brand’s first entry into the region. This development aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the hospitality sector and attract more international visitors.

The Kimpton KAFD Riyadh features 212 rooms and suites, offering guests a range of amenities, including an outdoor pool, a health club, and flexible meeting and event spaces. The hotel also offers four distinct dining venues: Botanica, Ziya, Kanza, and The Vinyl Ember, each providing unique culinary experiences.

The hotel’s location in KAFD offers guests convenient access to nearby offices, shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. KAFD is designed as a pedestrian-friendly area with a network of skywalks and direct connectivity to the Riyadh metro network, embodying the concept of a 10-minute city.

Kimpton KAFD Riyadh is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio and participates in the IHG One Rewards loyalty program, offering guests exclusive rates and personalized benefits.

The hotel is positioned to cater to both business and leisure travelers, with its proximity to major businesses and lifestyle destinations in Riyadh. The opening of Kimpton KAFD Riyadh is expected to contribute to the growth of the hospitality sector in Saudi Arabia, which aims to attract 150 million visitors annually by 2030.
