King’s Hawaiian is ringing in summer with free sailboat rides in Toronto

15 June 20263 Mins Read

All aboard! Summer is here, and to celebrate, you can set sail on an adventure with King’s Hawaiian off Toronto’s lakeshore.

King’s Hawaiian, known for its irresistibly soft, fluffy, and signature sweet rolls, is hosting a limited-time event happening on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21. The two-day lakeshore pop-up will ring in summer with the ultimate dockside vibes, featuring free sliders, lawn games, a live DJ, and even free sailboat rides.

Set sail with King’s Hawaiian

Yes, you read that correctly. In partnership with Gone Sailing Adventures, guests can book free hourly sail experiences from 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. each day. Spots are limited, so be sure to register in advance online. Nothing beats the wind in your hair, sun on your face, and the freedom of traversing the open water.

There’s plenty of fun to be had on land as well. A lakeside lounge with seating, lawn games, and live entertainment contributes to a laid-back, fun atmosphere for the whole family. And what would be a King’s Hawaiian pop-up without some delicious rolls on hand?

King’s Hawaiian

From noon to 4 p.m. daily while supplies last, guests can enjoy complimentary bites, with options including the Golden Coast Club, a California-style, inverted King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Roll with chicken, goat cheese, sweet pepper, pesto and Muskoka cherries, and the Aloha Slider, which consists of shredded lettuce, cheddar, pickle, and special sauce on a King’s Hawaiian Savoury Butter Roll.

Vegetarian options include the King’s Vegetarian Caprese Slider, made with roasted garlic and basil confit tomato, pesto, arugula, bocconcini and aged balsamic reduction on a King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Roll, and the Sunkissed Pineapple Bread Pudding, which is King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with vanilla bean coconut custard, caramelized pineapple and toasted coconut.

Sharing the Aloha spirit

Founded 75 years ago, King’s Hawaiian is a family-owned business that’s been providing Hawaii-inspired foods made with original recipes for three generations. In its dedication to spreading the Aloha spirit, the beloved brand adds versatility and irresistibility to occasions big and small, from everyday meals and snacking to special events that bring loved ones together.

King’s Hawaiian is available across Canada at major grocery retailers, including Walmart, Metro, Loblaws, and Sobeys. The rolls come in Original Hawaiian Sweet and Savoury Butter flavours, in four or 12-packs.
