Banandium Gems are golden bananas scattered around the layers in Donkey Kong Bananza. You’ll find dozens of these collectibles in the Lagoon Layer.
The Lagoon Layer is home to, well, a lagoon, and to the wise Kong Elder. Some of the Banandium Gems in the this layer will require you to adjust the water level of the lagoon and utilize your Kong Bananza powers. The Lagoon Layer is said to have 55 Banandium Gems in the collection menu, but a chunk of them cannot be found until you progress further into the game. These Banandium Gems can be fairly difficult to find — some are hidden inside Ancient Ruins, while others require you to think on your feet.
Below, we list where to find all of the Banandium Gems in the Lagoon Layer we’ve found so far in Donkey Kong Bananza. We’re still updating this guide and will add more golden bananas as we find them.

From the starting point, walk forward along the right edge until you run into a wall. Hop over the wall and drop down. In the center of the area, you’ll find a soft dirt wall. Punch through the wall and head inside to find the second Banandium Gem.
The third Banandium Gem is skipped over in the collection, so we believe that you’ll need to return after you’ve progressed further or after you’ve beaten the main story of Donkey Kong Bananza.

Break the triangle to start a timed event where you need to demolish a cube on the other side of the cliff in 20 seconds. Do that, and the Banandium Gem will appear.
To easily complete this challenge, we recommend breaking the wall behind the triangle before you even start the challenge. After you start the challenge, break off a chunk of the bomb rock and throw it at the shifty cube to finish the challenge.
