Langham Hospitality Group has appointed Rico Picenoni as the Global Head of Residential to enhance its design, branding, and operation of private homes.

Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has announced the appointment of Rico Picenoni as the Global Head of Residential. This newly created position is intended to strengthen the company’s capabilities in managing and operating private residences alongside hotel properties.

The move comes as LHG seeks to expand its presence in mixed-use developments, which combine hotel management with branded residential services.

Rico Picenoni joins LHG with extensive experience in the branded residential sector. Before this role, he led the branded residential consultancy team at Savills from its London headquarters. His team at Savills managed advisory mandates in over 50 countries, with a combined development value exceeding $45 billion. Before Savills, Picenoni was involved in residential and extended-stay development across the Middle East and Africa for Accor, where he held senior roles in feasibility and project assessment.

Picenoni’s career also includes asset management roles at Seven Tides Hospitality, where he oversaw residential properties operated by international hospitality firms, including Minor Hotels Group and Mövenpick. Additionally, he has operational experience with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in the United States and Starwood Hotels & Resorts in the United Arab Emirates.

As part of LHG’s strategic expansion, Picenoni will be based in Dubai, underscoring the company’s commitment to the Middle East market. LHG plans to open its first hotel in the region by 2029.
