Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton Reveal Which 'Love Is Blind' Couple Gave Them the Most Parenting Advice: ‘They’ve Been Great’ (Exclusive)

8 September 20254 Mins Read

If you’re a loyal Love Is Blindwatcher, then it’s likely you’ve kept up with the OG couples. Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton met on the first season of the series, and, now, their baby boy is almost here. We caught up with the couple to gauge how the pregnancy’s going, how they’re preparing for parenthood, and got all of the tea on which Love Is Blind couple is giving them the most parenting advice (and no, it’s not Nick or Vanessa Lachey—yet!).

“I’m feeling good,” Lauren Speed-Hamilton told us of her pregnancy. “We are very close to having a baby boy, like a month left. I’m tired. You’re tired [pointing to Cameron]. But I’m so excited, and I’m just in love already.”

The duo partnered up with popular diaper brand, Pampers, ahead of welcoming their first child, in order to kickstart the “Behind Every Baby” campaign. The initiative invites families to share their recent or real-time baby photos to give 100 winners a chance to win a year’s supply of diapers.

“One of the things that we have been working on is our nursery and being sure that that’s all stocked up,” Lauren told Parade. “Pampers is going to be there on day one.”

Earlier this year, the couple opened up about their IVF journey, citing it as a “very difficult” road. As far as parenting goes though, the duo is getting a lot of support from extended family, including one Love Is Blind couple that fans will surely recognize.

‘LIB’ Couple Amber and Matt Barnett Have Been ‘Giving All the Tips’

Lauren and Cameron are still good friends with Matt and Amber Barnett, who also appeared on season one. When we asked the couple which duo in the Love Is Blind family has been offering the most advice, they mentioned that the Barnett’s welcomed their first baby, a girl, back in April 2025.

“Amber has been giving me all the tips,” Lauren said. “I mean, her baby shower gift was like so many little trinkets. She’s like, ‘I have explanations for each one. We’re teaching her.'”

The Hamilton’s explained that the couple has been “really great,” joking that the Barnett’s “will just give [them] their baby” whenever the friends get together as “practice.”

“That was the first time I ever fed a baby from a bottle,” Cameron added. “It was their baby.”

Hosts of the LIB series, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, have three kids. Therefore, we got the scoop on whether or not the Lauren and Cameron reached out to the power duo for parenting advice as well.

“We haven’t, but they do have a lot of kids,” Lauren said. “So maybe we should try. Give us some good advice.”

Lauren and Cameron Are ‘Open’ to Appearing on ‘LIB’ Again

We then asked the Hamilton’s if they’d be open to updating fans on the new baby once things settle down, by appearing on upcoming Love Is Blind seasons.

“If they offer that to us, hey, I think we’d be open to discuss that,” Lauren responded.

“I would love to pop on set and talk to the cast,” Cameron added. “That would be pretty fun.”

Love Is Blind is premiering its ninth season on October 1, 2025. The first season debuted in February 2020, where Lauren and Cameron met blindly. Although the pair has not appeared on Love Is Blind episodes since then, the couple has pursued other projects, such as their podcast titled, The Love Seat, and their book, Leap of Faith: Finding Love the Modern Way (2021, Simon & Schuster).
