Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Le Méridien Dehradun Resort & Spa, marking the brand’s entry into Dehradun.
Le Méridien Dehradun Resort & Spa has opened along the Nun River in the foothills of the Himalayas. The property is located in Dehradun, a leisure destination and gateway to Mussoorie, Rishikesh, and Haridwar. The resort is 45 minutes from Jolly Grant Airport and 15 minutes from Dehradun Railway Station.
The resort features 103 guest rooms and suites with views of the river or surrounding hills. The design incorporates mid-century modern elements and references the arches of the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun. Art and decor are inspired by the landscape and culture of Uttarakhand.
Dining options include Riviera Café, an all-day dining restaurant serving international and regional cuisine. Longitude operates as a coffee bar and bakery during the day and transitions into a bar in the evening. Aqua Current is a poolside bar, and Le Scoop by Le Méridien offers gelato as part of the brand’s signature programme.
The Explore Spa by Le Méridien offers treatments featuring Himalayan botanicals, including the Chakra Art Massage and the Himalayan Hot Salt Poultice. The resort also offers a fitness centre and swimming pool.
The Le Méridien Family Club provides activities such as pottery, pinecone painting, board games, croquet, and riverside picnics.
The Unlock Art programme at the resort includes a partnership with the Forest Research Institute, giving guests access to museums, botanical collections, and forestry exhibits.
Le Méridien Dehradun Resort & Spa has over 24,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including riverside lawns, for weddings, social events, and corporate meetings.
