Lenny Kravitz made rare comments about his dating life during a wide-ranging interview that was published on Saturday, Feb. 22.
The “American Woman” singer’s relationships have been well-documented over the course of his decades in the spotlight, though he has now been single for several years. Kravitz, 60, was asked if this was still the case during a recent conversation with The Times.

“Yeah,” he confirmed. The four-time Grammy Award winner then told the British paper that he is “good on my own,” adding, “right now, I’m good where I am.”
The “Fly Away” singer has been married once, to The Cosby Show star Lisa Bonet. The two married in 1987 and divorced in 1993. They share one daughter, 36-year-old actress Zoë Kravitz.
While Kravitz never married a second time, he did have other relationships that made headlines in the years that followed, and was once engaged to actress Nicole Kidman. He reportedly dated pop star Kylie Minogue in the early 1990s, shortly after his relationship with Bonet ended, and later dated French singer and model Vanessa Paradis for several years. His most recent public relationship was with Brazilian model Barbara Fialho back in 2018.
While The Recording Academy’s 2024 Global Impact Award winner didn’t offer much information about his current dating life during his recent interview, he did provide some information regarding his health and exercise routine amid questions about some of his recent abs-bearing wardrobe choices. Kravitz told the Times that he works out daily—sometimes even fitting in workouts at 2:30 a.m. on busy days—and embraces a raw, vegan and sugar-free diet. He told the paper that “there’s no comparison” between the way he looks now and the way he looked 30 to 40 years ago.
“I’ve never felt physically better in my life,” he said. “But that’s by virtue of a tremendous amount of work.”
