Lifestyle Legend Martha Stewart Is Opening a Restaurant in a New England Casino

19 February 20252 Mins Read

Stewart first opened the Bedford on the Las Vegas Strip in August 2022. The restaurant was meant to make diners feel like they were eating in Stewart’s own home, right down to the sparkling copper pots hanging above the marble countertop in the open kitchen. The menu is straightforward, Stewart-approved fare, including a whole roast chicken, puffy Polish pierogis made using Stewart’s mother’s recipe, crab cakes, and the top-selling Meyer lemon-spiked Martha-tini cocktail. The opening drew plenty of crowds, and former New York Times restaurant critic Pete Wells even flew out to give it a go. (He didn’t like it; many other people did.)

At the Connecticut expansion, expect much of the same menu, including the pierogis, a Niçoise salad, and plenty of those Martha-tinis. New additions include a breakfast menu, debuting at the Foxwoods location, and a focus on ingredients from New England farms.

The restaurant is a big get for the Connecticut casino, which has been ramping up its dining scene over the past few years. Boston restaurateur Nia Grace’s swanky Seaport restaurant and live music venue, Grace by Nia, opened a second location at Foxwoods last year, and there’s a new location of Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s Japanese ramen shop Momosan coming this spring.
