Hilton has appointed Linda Griffin as area general manager for Canada. In this role, Griffin oversees a portfolio of full-service and focused-service hotels in Ontario, Québec, and British Columbia, including Hilton Québec, Hilton Toronto, Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites, Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Belleville, and Hampton Inn by Hilton Chilliwack.
Based in Ontario at the Hilton Toronto, Griffin provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for these properties. She works with hotel leadership teams to support operations, leadership development, and guest experiences across Canada, collaborating with Hilton’s regional and property teams.
Griffin began her career at the Delta Meadowvale Hotel, now the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale, in 1988, and has held reservations and front-office roles at the Hilton Toronto and the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites. Her career spans more than three decades with senior leadership roles across North America, Europe, and the Mediterranean, including positions in Turkey, Romania, and the United Kingdom.
Her international experience with Hilton includes leadership roles at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino and work with Hilton’s Front Office Development team in the United Kingdom. She later served as area revenue manager for the Mediterranean, supporting 17 Hilton hotels across Southern Europe and the Mediterranean. Griffin returned to on-property leadership in senior operational roles at the former Hilton Athens, now Conrad Athens The Ilisian, and held hotel and cluster general manager positions at the former Athénée Palace Hilton Bucharest and Hilton London Kensington.
Griffin’s career also includes leadership roles with Jumeirah Group and Dimensions Health Centers Inc. She studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at Ryerson Polytechnic University, now Toronto Metropolitan University.
