Linkin Park is heading to Munich, Germany, for a special concert that fans will be able to stream from across the globe–but that’s not all.
On Wednesday, the rock band revealed it would be headlining the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show, which is presented by Pepsi at the Munich Football Arena on Saturday, May 31. The “eagerly anticipated” event is “set to be an unforgettable experience” that will get fans watching from inside the stadium or at home pumped right before the match.

“With our new album and ongoing tour, we’ve been overwhelmed by the fans’ energy and excitement,” the group said in a statement. “We can’t wait to share that same energy and excitement at the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi.”
“This marks a totally new experience for us as a band,” they added, “and we’re excited to share some of our favourite songs from the past and present, with the thousands in the crowd and millions watching around the world.”
The rockers’ “iconic collaboration” is kicking off with a short film featuring “an electrifying new remix” of their 4X Platinum hit “Numb,” with sounds inspired by UEFA Champions League football (the strike of leather, the whistle of a free kick, passionate fans cheering) that was composed and recorded by the band.
Fans immediately went wild over the big announcement, taking to the comments of the joint Instagram post Linkin Park shared with the Champions League to celebrate.
“OMG 🔥🔥🔥,” one simply gushed.
“Fine,” a second quipped. “I’ll be watching the finals.”
Another joked that they “know nothing about sportsball. 😝,” but are still, ” so happy for my favorite band at the same time. 😍.”
“THE CHAMPIONSSS😍😍😍😍😍,” a different fan declared.
“EMILY [Armstrong] IN GERMANY AGAIN,” someone else wrote, praising the lead singer who replaced late vocalist Chester Bennington in 2024.
