“Last night! Last night was a game changer!” the former child actress behind Laura Ingalls Wilder captioned her update. “We were lucky to go to the best concert I think I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot! We saw @heartofficial at @bethelwoodscenter. Our dear friends @jeffreygerson gifted us with front row center seats and our other sweet friend @frayruss got us a meet and greet with @nancywilson.”
In the first photo of the montage, Gilbert, 61, smiled while standing next to Wilson, 71, during the meet-and-greet at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y., on Saturday, Aug. 30. Another shot showed the two icons with Busfield added.
“I barely have words today to describe how inspired, moved and exhausted I am today,” Gilbert continued. “They were absolutely incredible. I was moved to tears many times. They slayed it last night.”
The When Calls the Heart actress also shared clips of Heart performing “The Ocean” by Led Zeppelin and Heart’s beloved “Barracuda.” She marveled over how incredible Nancy and her sister and lead singer, Ann Wilson, 75, were during the show.

“I wish every single dumb dumb out there who discounts what women over 50 are capable of, could see these two in action,” Gilbert declared. “Nancy jumping, kicking and SQUATTING while playing guitar. And @annwilson a true warrior, cancer survivor, just belting out so many of their songs and they did some @ledzeppelin too!! The only band to do Led Zeppelin, as brilliantly as Zepplin itself. Every single musician in that band is stellar.”
Gilbert confessed she was “pretty tongue-tied” when meeting Nancy after the concert.
“This band and their music have been a part of my life since I was 10 years old. It truly was a dream come true,” she shared. “If you get a chance you must go see these brilliant, brave, strong absolute bad asses. I am so incredibly inspired! So proud to be the age I am. We ladies over 50….we ROCK!! (Literally)”
