LivAway Suites Breaks Ground on Montgomery, Alabama Hotel

The Montgomery property is part of LivAway Suites’ regional expansion plans, which include upcoming locations in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. The company has 13 hotels open from Maine to Washington.

LivAway Suites hotels are purpose-built for longer stays rather than using older assets or conversions. Suites are 20% larger than the segment average and include full kitchens and dedicated workspaces. Property amenities include a fitness center, smart guest laundry, parcel lockers and self-check-in.

The company’s rates are intended for longer stays. Its guests include relocating professionals, construction and infrastructure workers, health care travelers, military personnel and families, insurance displacement guests, and people seeking furnished accommodations for weeks or months.

The Montgomery location is intended to serve travelers seeking extended-stay accommodations in the area. The property is expected to provide access to Maxwell Air Force Base and Maxwell Gunter Annex for military personnel and visiting families; Auburn University at Montgomery for faculty, students and visitors; and the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Plant and surrounding supplier facilities for business travelers, contractors and project teams.
